YOF League

Fall & Winter | Boys | Grade 7-8

This YOF Development Program focuses on mentorship, basketball, and educational programming for Black youth in Peel. The YOF league teaches fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship and a passion for the love of the game of basketball while also learning about what it takes to be a student-athlete through different educational

workshops. 

Youth participants will have access to the caring staff and feel a sense of belonging in the community where they can access support, friendship, and share experiences with peers. 

Each session includes gameplay with rotating in-class

workshops and on-court skill development. This league is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

- Officiated games
- Max 8 players per team
- Updated weekly stats 
- Elite Level Coaches with experience at the collegiate level

- alternating weeks of in-class educational workshops and skill

development

D-League (Boys)

The A4H Development league focuses on developing fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a passion for the love of the game of basketball. The sessions include skill development as well as officiated gameplay to allow your athlete to apply their skills in a game situation.

The curriculum is built off of A4H's strategic elite camp

the framework which aligns with Sport Canada's Long Term

Athlete Development Model.

Winter | Girls | Grade 4-6
